Participants will join the conversation around the current factors, research, and projected needs for recruitment, development, and retention of teachers, specifically special education teachers. Given the complexity of the issues surrounding the critical need for special education teachers, our focus is the development of collaborative approaches and strategies. This presentation will share resources and processes co-constructed and implemented by educators from a university personnel preparation program and school districts.
